DiBitonto, Isabella
775-747-1903
Swiss-born Isabella DiBitonto started painting in elementary school after being inspired by a Monet Exhibit. She studied art at the university in Tuscaloosa, Alabama where she joined the University Women's Painters group and won several awards for her work. "I like to represent in my painting that I like to live in harmony with family, friends, relatives, church, people from the community, animals and all the generations. I like to be connected with other artists and be productive.

DiMaria, Salvatore In 1980, I was living in Arnold, California. It snowed quite a lot there, and I would look for wood for the fireplace. One day, I was chopping wood and found an interesting piece. While looking at it, I could see different types of figures. After cutting and filing on it, I came up with a fish in abstract form. I created all types of animals from other pieces of wood, while keeping as close as possible to being nature made. I now work with all types of wood, carving in abstract form while keeping mother nature in mind.

Dory, David David Dory"The basic element of every culture is ART"
David Dory is an dreamscape surrealist painter. He believes that,"Being an artist is not so much an occupation or a way to earn a living, but is his destiny." Painting and drawing are reflections of some of Dory's earliest memories and he continues to strive to have them be amongst his last. In recalling his childhood, Dory summons memories of magical adventures that were fueled by youthful innocence that shaped his world. These childhood times, when a week seemed to last a year and reality was a fanciful fantasy, are the sources of his creative vision. His artistic quest is to paint and give visual expression to these delicate, yet powerful emotional impressions. In doing so, he brings all of us back to those precious days when imagination was more important than knowledge and summer really did last forever.

She studies watercolors with Joyce Rossi, a local artist who has helped her to find the "soul" of her art. Jeanne Giles has set a goal to open eyes and make the magic of art accessible to everyone, young and old, all it takes is the wish to see more than what it there.
