Rancho San Rafael
1595 N. Sierra St, Reno

Rancho San Rafael is Reno's largest County park. It exists largely through the contributions of philanthropist Wilbur D. May. Not only does the park offer full picnic facilities, but houses the Wilbur May Museum, arboretum and botanical gardens. There are also lots of things for the kids, such as the flume ride, pony rides, petting zoo, food and much more. We spent three hours there just taking photos, walking through the gardens and learning about the local environment.
