I feel the hose adds a certain je ne sais quoi. That's French for "I don't know what I'm talking about."
Bob and Doug will be heading the Trump and Clinton election weary immigration department station on Ellesmere Island. But, before you pack your bags, remember that about 90 percent of Canadians live within 100 miles of the US border. The Great White North is still, like awfully cold for much of the year - eh? |

John: Help me post this pic:
John says, "No way, Jose! I pass that stuff onto my underpaid, extremely hard working, sweaty assistant!"

Ah, we have not only a webmaster, but a resident poet laureate!
Pen on, ye WordSmithy! I shall hoist yet another flagon of yonder ale upon Reno's swarthy brow...excelsior! |

Song of Reno
Pen on, ye ole wordsmithy...
A ryhme of Reno would be spiffy!
Your best bet's the Cal Neva -
Lady Luck 'll ne'er leave ya!
The Eldo's fine, the Pep is too -
At times the Circus is a zoo!
Our Silver Legacy's a treat,
And Bill Harrah's can't be beat.
The Sand's neon still shines bright.
I'd love to gamble there tonight.
But, if I could only walk that block,
And place my bets at the ole Comstock!
Harolds, the Mapes and others too,
Have gone to dust, they're all through!
But Reno's spirit still lives on...
Um ... have an ale at Shooter's from a flagon!

WOW! Didn't see that coming...just like other recent events, but that's a totally non-Reno story...
Dave, you are a worthy adversary, though I would propose we join our powers for the good of Reno, instead of a cosmic battle that lays waste to the town....
I salute you, good sir! What a terrific blend of showmanship and penmanship! |

Stan, your pen landed in my court and I took it for a spin. (A somewhat mixed metaphor). But I gladly return it to it's proper owner. With it, I was a poet, but didn't know it, eh? And yes, let's join forces for the good of Reno and of course, this great board! Wait a minute - we've been doing that all along. Well, steady as she goes then.
And I return the salute to you, good fellow! Thanks for the compliments on my rhymin'! It's kinda fun - It could happen again.

Just for using "Flagon" in a rhyme, you get a special prize of some sort...John, what was it again? A free entry to a Cal-Neva beer pong tournament? Or was it not quite that good? |
