One of the casinos i visit here in Washington has just announced they will be 100% smoke free upon reopening,. Angel Of The Winds, its a pretty big casino here. I had thought this may happen. I had gotten a survey from another casino here asking random queations about how i felt about having to wear a mask, temp checks,no smoking, ect. I was just saying last night to my ex ( whos a smoker) i bet casinos go no smoking.
So what do you guys think? Do you think Nevada casinos may do this? I know smoking and the casino go hand in hand. Some may say it will hurt business but some say more non smokers may come. |

Many years ago there was a hotel casino on Virginia Street just south of downtown that went non smoking. It is now a strip joint. |

The Ponderosa!! I only went in while it was still a casino! Honest!
The only time I ever smoke is when in a casino. |

Both my Parents were Smokers, and died at a young age, I never took it up. When I go in a casino I look for machines or tables that doesn't have a
smoker. I move the ash trays when I set down and some times it works, I've had people ask if I minded if they smoked. Before setting down next to me. If
some one lights up close to me I just cash out and move to another machine! |

Yeah i am not sure what i think yet.. Should be interesting.
Gambling and smoking go hand in hand.. However i think there are more non smokers than smokers. Maybe turn the non smoking sections into the smoking sections. The casino that is doing this has a good sized non smoking area they could do this with.
As a non smoker, i hate dealing with dirty ash trays and ashes all over machines.. Some casinos the smoke is so bad my eyes burn and i spend alot of times in casinos.. not to mention reaking after leaving. Doesnt keep me out of the casinos tho. lol
Maybe its time to cater to the non smokers vs smokers.
I will post on this thread once that casino opens and see how it goes. |

Well, another casino here is getting ready to open. It too will be non smoking. I also read that Win River in Redding Ca is opening this week and it too will be non smoking. I see more and more doing that.. |

Atlantis Reno also had a survey I did a few weeks ago. They had questions about smoking/non smoking, wearing mask and coronavirus issues. I think
we will honor any of their policies they put forward. Hopefully they entice us with some good offers to get us back. |

Obijuankenobe, You must be a high roller at Atlantis with a $50.00 food credit for taking the survey. I received $10.00 comps credit. |
