The board seems kinda slow? I hate to say it..................I will be in Reno this weekend through monday. If anyone remembers I kinda got overcharged for a limo when i flew in last feb (we usually drive) and the limo co said they would make it right the next time I needed service. Soooooooooooo I sent a email and they were true to word, comped airport transfer this trip. How about that. Anyrate we are traveling with a few newbie's as far as Reno so everything for them will be a treat. We will surely hit our favorites...Awful burger, Thai Palace and the magic show (have been to the show at least 15 times, in three locations) to name a few. So hopefully the Cal-Neva is well stocked of coors & kamakazi's and shooters still has that couch in the bathroom.........if ya have to ask....don't.

Once in a while the board takes a little rest. But a trip report from Slacker is just what it needs to get going again. Have fun in Reno, Slacker, and say hi to the gang at Shooters!

Funny I think the board especially slows down for the weekend. Like BC said I am sure a trip report from you can and will spice it up. Where are you staying at? Where is the Thai Palace? I do love thai food so I will have to check that out. Hopefully they will have that bar in the limo properly stocked for you guys! Goodluck,

The Thai Palace is on virgina about two miles from downtown directly across from Pirate Tattoo....yep been there also. As far as where we are staying....will be staying at the Cal-neva.

Last time I had the awful, I kinda wrote it off. It was up to $5.50. That is no longer the deal it was just over a year ago when it was at 3.50.

Arizona is 80 degrees and sunny. So I am outta here to enjoy it.

Yea lets here a trip report from ya. A bunch of us are going down there four weeks from tomorrow for March Madness and I'll be staying at Cal Neva so i'm anxious to hear about that place and anything else you were up to.

See what you did? You woke a bunch of us board (bored) people up!

C'mon, John, I have an "insider" report that you hit the Royal whilst enjoying my free play and 6-8 Heinies.
If they give me anything in March, I'll be there. Still no Royal for me. I now need about 5 of them in a row to pay for this trip.

Sunny, 75, and wonderful. Gotta get off this computer and go enjoy:

A 20 oz fresh-brewed Old English Malt at 8% alcohol.

I could use Charlie to "fly me home" to my RV in the desert (or as the bartenders call it: "My van down by the river").

Life is good but I do miss my Reno friends. Still 75-80 degree sunny days by the river ain't all that bad. When the snow quits, reno will be in my windshield.
