The big neon (or is it now LED) sign was being installed on the Siri's facade today. Projected opening day is April 11, so Virginia Street will be a little bit brighter in just about a week. It remains to be seen how interesting the casino will be, starting with slots only, but they're supposed to be planning other eating and entertainment options and their license is unlimited so they could offer table games in the future if they decide to expand.

There's also exterior signage on Whitney Peak, but inside it looks a lot farther from done than Siri's. But it's a bigger project so that's to be expected. I also haven't seen how the hotel rooms are coming along, and it might be they're getting higher priority right now than the ground floor renovations.

That's great news! Thanks Remano. I'll have to come back soon to see the new and improved Virginia street.

I saw an invitation to their grand opening on April 11, which had their web address on it. I hope they put more effort into the casino than they put into the site. I realize it's just in the beginning stage, but I'm thinking they should have at least put their street address on it.

Shooter's website was better than that. That Street Vibrations graphic is the best part of the whole site. It looks oddly familiar, or is it just me?

But anyway, good luck Siri's!

Considering their location they don't really need the address. But with no hotel or table games (how about parking?) they better have some great food deals, machines and promotions.
