Come May 28, JetBlue will start daily service from JFK. An evening flight to Reno, a redeye heading back.
JFK - RNO 7:40 p.m. - 11:07 p.m.
RNO - JFK 11:59 p.m. - 8:09 a.m.
According to the press release, one-way fares can be had for as little as $89.

Always good to see these developments - anything that helps the rest of the world find out what the alternative to Vegas is!
As a former New Yorker, I'm particularly excited to see this service announced - makes me want to shout out whatever the opposite of "Fuhgeddaboudit" is.... |

| This is good news, the first time ever Reno has had direct service to NY. The $89 fares were a limited introductory teaser and had to be reserved today. In fact, a co-worker who is originally from NY tried to book flights at around 11:30 this morning and was told they were already sold out. Still, a pretty good deal for those who got it. Not sure what the regular fare is, but like other flights it probably varies with day of week, time of year, what else is going on etc. I'm sure JetBlue's web site would have more info. |
