I have always loved this little place and have spent a few hours there during each of my Reno visits. This is too much, but I guess, It is what it is. Damn! Still remember having an Awful Awful there with John and Jerry and, on other trips, with Janice and other friends too. Goodbye Double Jackpot Time.

Oh no! This is so sad. Another longstanding Reno casino says goodbye. This is such a bummer! Another place (in addition to Harrah's) that I will not get to visit one last time to say goodbye. I've been going to Little Nugget for decades. Not for an Awful Awful (not a burger person so never did have one of those). Just loved the small size, casual casino with a lone Tabasco slot machine I loved to play while drinking terrible wine. RIP Little Nugget.  |

How disappointing!
LOVED that place! Always a struggle to decide between the Awful Awful and the hot wings!
They used to sell ridiculously large drinks in huge glasses. They called them the Nugget Bucket. I probably bought 30 of them, at a half dozen a crack.
