I’ve had increased anxiety attacks over a few months now and it’s affecting my relationships and work. I was good at handling it back then (going to Reno) but now, it just got worse. What can I do? Has anybody experienced this before? |

With the state of the world today and in particular the current state of the USA, it's pretty normal to have a heightened state of anxiety. Talking to a friend might help. Then there's also counselling services and psychologists. Perhaps a talk with your doctor would be in order. People get real help with the use of certain drugs such as anti-depressants and anxiety relievers and there's no shame in taking these - they can help get you back on track. Probably the worst thing you could do is self medicate ie: with booze or street drugs.
Hope this is of some help. A website such as this (which is mainly dedicated to Reno tourism and gambling) probably isn't the best place to look for help.
On a more personal note; The writings of Ayn Rand - novelist and philosopher - have been a great help to me in understanding the world and my place in it. You can find interviews with her on YouTube. |
