Merry Christmas..... this is rather odd Very Happy

We were in Reno that weekend 12/1 through 12/4. I had read about the Slot Machine Concert in the Reno paper and actually planned on going to the concert on Sunday night. Unfortunately, my wife got hung up on a ..............Slot Machine at the Peppermill and was trying to get the darn thing to sing Christmas Carols or something, and refused to leave!

Merry Christmas to all of you Reno nuts, and I wish nothing but huge jackpots to all in the New Year!

Thanks Yo. Yeah Merry Christmas to all of you! I hope you have great Christmas. I keep telling my wife she could wrap up all of the shopping for me with a "surprise" trip to Reno but I have a few boxes under the tree already so I guess that is out. I'll keep trying! Smile

Dave, I'll let you in on a little secret. We have two couples who are close friends, that we convinced to get married in Reno on New Years Day. That was 15 years ago, and I have been in Reno for 15 straight New Years Eves. Yep.................we have to go and help celebrate their anniversaries. Ho, Ho, Ho.......................... And yes we will be there again this year for all of the frivolity. Strictly to help them celebrate! Ho, Ho, Ho, Ho.

Alison: When we were at the Pep Dec 1, the place was starting to come around. I'm not quite sure but I think the Front Desk is soon to be moved to a much larger area. They were just finishing up the new drive under Valet Area, and have added a great feature for picking up your car. You just wave the bar code on the Valet Ticket under a reader, and your car appears about 5 minutes later. Really fast service.

I will see what I can do for pictures, but yet not sure we will get out to the Pep. I'm with a pretty large mob of inebriated holiday revelers and it can be rather hard to move the herd in any direction.

I am supposed to get to the Peppermill in February. thats forever away though. I cant wait that long to see the changes. I am very impatient. Its one of my faults. Wink

Yo Man, if you can get your rowdy partners in crime there to check it out an get some photos, that would be great!! Im sure i am not the only one who would like to see it.
