To sum up the museum in one word ... awesome! Inspired by the Black Rock Desert, the new NMA is an environmental statement about Nevada's unique landscape. With 13,482 square feet of expanded gallery space for major exhibitions, 180 seat multimedia theater for presentations, recitals and films, dining in Café Musée and street-level and rooftop galleries, it continues to offer audiences of all ages a variety of experiences.

GALLERY AND STORE HOURS: Wednesday through Sunday, 11:00 am to 5:00 pm - Thursday 10:00 am 8:00 pm. Closed Mondays, Tuesdays and national holidays.

PARKING: Parking is available in the Museum lot as well as in free and metered spaces on nearby streets.

PERMANENT COLLECTION GALLERIES: The NMA's permanent collection consists of over 1,900 works of art organized around the general themes of land and environment. The new museum features 5,000 square feet of gallery space dedicated to the exhibition of the permanent collection.

CAFÉ MUSÉE: Open Wednesday through Sunday from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm

Guided Tours
The Museum hosts free guided tours (with admission) in English and Spanish. Space is limited to a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations are not necessary.
* Thursday (no tour on the first Thursday of the month) / 6 pm
* Saturday and Sunday / 1 pm

Group Tours
The Museum welcomes groups by appointment. Group Tours are available for adult guests and school and community groups. All tours are designed to fit each group's unique interests and needs. Reservations must be made in advance
